Marianna Salzmann’s WHITEBREADMUSIC

October 5, 2014 $5.00 - $10.00

German Stage is proud to present the American Premiere of “Whitebreadmusic” by Russian born, Jewish-German playwright Marianna Salzmann.

Winner of the Wiener Wortstaetten Prize and the 2012 IKARUS Award, Best Play for Young Audiences

Aron, Nurit and Sedat grew up in Germany, but here they don’t feel at home there. They are caught between fatherland and mother love, friendship and betrayal, past and future generations, struggling for where they belong. They appear funny and cool, as if in a good mood, until the very thin ice beneath breaks…
