The Parent Café series, a program of Keshet’s Parent & Family Connection, offers a relaxed and supportive atmosphere where parents of LGBTQ Jews can connect with one another around shared experiences and concerns. Each cafe in the series will explore a different topic for discussion.

For our January café , we will host a moderated conversation between a parent and her queer child who will discuss the questions such as:

-Can we really see things through each other’s eye?
-How can a parent best support a child?
-What might children need to understand about the experience of parents?
-How does coming out impact the family?

Light refreshments will be served and Kosher food will be available.

Join us for this thought provoking afternoon and mark your calendars for our upcoming Parent Cafés !
