Comments by the Consul General of Israel Yehuda Yaakov and the Consul General of Germany Rolf Schuette.

If one looks at the modern Middle East or other zones of conflict around the world, it is hard to imagine a future based on friendship, respect, and an appetite for coexistence. Yet miracles do happen. Seventy years after the end of the Holocaust an extraordinary relationship has emerged out of the ashes of that era between the modern states of Israel and Germany.

On the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of Israeli-German diplomatic relations, we invite you to a special program that explores the road travelled from the death camps to today’s special relationship, and then considers prospects for the future. It will be an evening that will feature thoughtful discussion, music, and friendship. We hope you can join us.

This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

Registration is required. Please RSVP at www.ajcboston.org/MiraculousTransformation
