Come join us for the whole day or just part of this very special Shabbat filled with contemplative prayer and meditation.

• Experience the power of contemplative prayer through chant and davvening.
• Deepen your relationship to and understanding of Torah.
• Embrace teachings throughout the day that enhance and inform Shabbat Re’ah and Rosh Chodesh Elul.

What amazing good fortune for us to enter Elul together as a community in contemplative prayer. Our tradition teaches that Elul is a propitious time for Teshuvah, seeing what has separated us from our self, each other, and the One. We begin this communal journey by doing the inner work and outer action that enable us to realize At-one-ment on Yom Kippur.

The letters of Elul are also an acronym for Ani Le-dodi Ve-dodi Li, “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine,” from the Song of Songs. We do this work of Teshuvah in the embrace of love.

Come join us for this unique opportunity to begin our preparation for the High Holy Days! We invite you to share this journey with us, and to bring friends and family members. We look forward to being with you!!
