A Conversation with the Palestinian-Israeli Writer Sayed Kashua

February 18, 2016 Boston

Novelist and Ha’aretz columnist Sayed Kashua is perhaps best known for his TV comedy, Arab Labor, which was wildly popular in Israel just a few years ago. Today teaching at the University of Illinois here in the U.S., Kashua will join us for conversation about life in the Midwest, his new Israeli TV drama, and the realities of being a self-described Israeli Palestinian, now bereft of the future he hoped to give his children.
